Kevin D. Love
Pastor Kevin D. Love, “K. Love,” is a native of Memphis Tennessee. His religious upbringing was strongly influenced by both his grandmother and great-grandmother; both strong in their faith and firm in teaching Christian values. His great-grandmother would always say, “Son, as long as you have a roof over your head, food in your mouth, and clothes on your back, there ain’t no need in kickin’ and stompin’.” He is also very proud of the fact that his mother, Rose (Blakney) Love, was one of eight African Americans (Memphis State Eight) first to attend Memphis State University.
K. Love discovered early in life that he received great satisfaction in helping others. After leaving high school, he joined the Air Force; spending most of his career as a Chapel Administrator and Family Support Superintendent. He considers his greatest blessings to be his marriage to his high school sweet heart Jacqueline, “Jackie,” and his two wonderful children, Kevin II and April.
Throughout his life, K. Love has maintained a connection to the church and worked in many areas of ministry including, choir member, church finance and administration, Deacon, Youth Minister, and Sunday School Teacher. He holds degrees in Business, Education, Counseling and Theology.
Pastor “K. Love” believes that the heart of God is to bring people into an intimate relationship with Himself. He recognizes that life presents all people with challenges and difficulties that may impede their relationship with the Lord. Living Faith Community Church is committed to seeking the lost and assisting believers in “connecting real life to a real faith.”
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Galatians 2:20
