H
onesty in our relationships with God and one another
We seek to be transparent and real as we communicate the love of God through the lives that we live. (Exodus 23:1; Proverbs 13:5; Ephesians 4:15; Hebrews 13:18)
E
xcellence in our service, worship and character
We seek to pursue excellence in all we do to please God and to fuel the fire of spiritual maturity. (Ecclesiastes 9:10; Philippians 1:9-10; 2 Corinthians 8:7; 1 Thessalonians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 4:1; 1 Corinthians 10:31)
A
ccountability from every member and in every area of the ministry
We seek to foster an environment where people understand that we need one another to survive and thrive as believers. God designed the Body of Christ to function best when its members are there for each other in ways that spur them on and hold them responsible to the commitment they have made to follow Christ. (Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:20-21, 26; Ecclesiastes 4:10; Ecclesiastes 4:12)
R
elationships that are God-centered and authentic
We seek to surround ourselves with those who will encourage us in our Christian walk as well as to flee from those who would influence us in a negative way. It is very important that we have Godly believers in our lives with whom we can sharpen ourselves and be responsible to. (Proverbs 27:17; 1 Corinthians 15:33; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Hebrews 10:24-25; 2 Timothy 2:22; Hebrews 13:7)
T
rust in God as the foundation of what we believe and do
We seek to grow in our ability to walk by faith and not by what we see with our natural eye. God’s desire for humans is that they would live totally trusting Him in every aspect of life; resulting in a living faith. (Psalm 20:7; Psalm 28:7; Psalm 31:14; Psalm 40:4; Proverbs 3:5; Isaiah 12:2, Luke 16:10-12; John 14:1)
Keep thy HEART with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (Proverbs 4:23)
